Listing & selling real estate is a vocation with huge potential & equally big obstacles. To thrive requires much more than market acumen, negotiating skills & marketing savvy. The Realtor is also responsible for generating the leads & appointments that will develop into lasting client relationships. While it’s true most who are drawn to a career in real estate possess great people skills, prospecting & lead generation is often a forgotten art.
All Realtors are salespeople first, and that means prospecting, setting appointment & securing referrals. In today’s most active markets advertising, mailing & personal promotion are big expenses that produce putrid results.
